Adam stands beneath the heat of the day, his body marked with sweat as he grips a heavy farming tool in a cultivated field. Around him, tender crops grow beside thistles and wild plants, showing the changed ground outside Eden after the fall. His raised hand shields his face from the sun, while his expression carries the burden of labor now tied to survival. The scene draws from Genesis 3, where God declares that the ground is cursed because of Adam’s sin: food will come through painful toil, among thorns and thistles, until mankind returns to the dust.
